Before there was a brewery, there was Beer Zombies. Born in Las Vegas in 2013 from a shared obsession with craft beer, art and the culture surrounding it.
In 2013, Beer Zombies was an Instagram page, not a brewery. Chris Jacobs was working behind bars on the Las Vegas Strip, making art and sharing the independent beers he was obsessed with. No grand plan. Just good beer, good people and a growing community around both.
The following grew. So did the idea. Beer Zombies showed up at festivals, released merch, hosted bottle shares and collaborated with breweries around the country. In 2019, the first Beer Zombies Draft Room & Bottle Shop opened in Las Vegas. What started as a place to share great beer had become something people wanted to be part of.

PATIENT ZERO
Beer Zombies starts as a social media outlet for Chris Jacobs to share the independent beer, art and culture he was obsessed with. No brewery. No taprooms. Just Beer Zombies. - 2016
THE FIRST BEER
Beer Zombies makes the jump from talking about beer to putting its name on one, collaborating with Kings Brewing on its first official release. Many, many collaborations follow. - 2017
THE HORDE GATHERS
The first Beer Zombies Craft Beer Festival brings together 200 beer fans in Las Vegas. Within a few years, that crowd grows into the thousands. - 2019
THE FIRST DRAFT ROOM
The first Beer Zombies Draft Room & Bottle Shop opens on Warm Springs, giving the community its first permanent place to drink together. Later that year, Beer Zombies reaches Salt Lake City. - 2020
BEER ZOMBIES STARTS BREWING
Beer Zombies Brewing Co. officially launches. Before having a brewery of its own, the beers are produced with Mason Ale Works in California. - 2021
INDUSTRY PERSON OF THE YEAR
A global panel of Craft Beer Marketing Awards judges names Chris Jacobs one of its 2021 Industry People of the Year, recognizing the brand, creativity and community built around Beer Zombies. - 2022
BOULDER CITY JOINS THE HORDE
Beer Zombies opens in downtown Boulder City, adding a neighborhood draft room outside the Las Vegas Valley core. - 2023 / 2024
THE BREWERY BECOMES HOME
Beer Zombies acquires longtime Las Vegas brewery Tenaya Creek in late 2023 and begins transforming the Bonanza Road brewery into Beer Zombies Brewing Co.'s permanent home. The Beer Zombies brewery is operating there in 2024. - TODAY

More than a decade after the first post, Beer Zombies has a brewery of its own, draft rooms, beers in the wild and a community that grew right along with it.
